Conditional sentences are common in everyday English. But you need to be very careful in the way you use conditionals—otherwise, you can convey the wrong meaning entirely.
The Grammar/Syntax section of the G.B.C. test is one in which the majority of students score below 3, with scores of 1 or 2 being very common.
Some verbs can be followed by either an infinitive (to + verb) or a gerund (verb-ing). For instance, these sentences are both grammatically correct: "Remember to study", and "Remember studying." However, the meanings are quite different.
